We haven't built it yet. Leave your email: if enough people want it, we'll build it — and tell you first.
How to plan a week of meals:
- Start with what you have
Look in the fridge and the cupboard first, and put those dishes early in the week, before anything goes off.
- Cook once, eat twice
Make a double batch on a quieter evening and write the leftovers in for the next day's lunch.
- Shop from the list
Our recipes total their flour, butter and eggs for you; add the rest under “Also buy”, then print it and take it to the shop.
Questions:
- How do I make a weekly meal plan?
- Write in the dinners first — they take the most cooking — then lunches, using leftovers where you can. Keep one or two easy evenings for busy days, and shop once, from the list.
- Can I print the meal planner?
- Yes. “Print the week” puts the week and the shopping list on one page; the rest of this page stays off the paper.
- Is it free? Do I need an account?
- It's free and needs no sign-up. The week stays in this browser, so it's still here when you come back on the same device.
- How does the shopping list work?
- When you add one of our recipes, its ingredients go on the list for the batch you picked, and the same ingredient in two recipes is added up — in grams and millilitres, the way shops sell it.
- Can I plan the week in the Mixova app?
- Not yet. Mixova is a recipe notebook app for Android, and we're deciding whether to add meal planning — leave your email above if you'd use it.
